<p>Bob is a recently retired Head teacher who has worked at Ferndale Comprehensive School and Bettws High School.  He was also Deputy Head teacher/ Examination officer at Bassaleg Comprehensive.  </p>
<p>Currently a Business Development Manager with New Directions Education, this workshop has been devised around his own ‘hands on’ experiences gained from working effectively with students, teaching and support staff.<strong></strong></p>

<p>On successful completion of the course and final assessment, each delegate will receive a HSE approved, nationally recognised First Aid at Work certificate.  This is valid for a further 3 years.  All delegates will also receive a First Aid manual.</p>
<p><strong>Qualification information</strong> </p>
<p>Designed for: Persons who currently fulfil the position of a qualified workplace First Aider.  Delegates must be in possession of a valid (unexpired) First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate issued by any HSE approved training organisation &#8211; including voluntary organisations.</p>
<p>Course duration: Two Day Programme</p>
<p>Assessment method: Candidates are assessed on Day 2 on thier ability to carry out correct First Aid procedures in simulated scenarios.  Ongoing assessment is carried out by the trainer throughout the course.</p>
<p>HSE Accredited Course: Yes</p>
<p>Prerequisite: A valid and unexpired First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate.</p>
