Aim
To consolidate existing knowledge base and develop skills and confidence in preparation for involvement in the Child Protection process
Objectives
By the end of the workshop the participants should;
- be clear on their personal and professional responsibility to protect children and themselves
- have considered appropriate methods of risk assessment and record keeping for their organisation or department
- understand the process and procedure of case conferences and how to prepare for the meeting
- have explored the role they can play in core assessments
