Aim

To consolidate existing knowledge base and develop skills and confidence in preparation for involvement in the Child Protection process

Objectives

By the end of the workshop the participants should;

  • be clear on their personal and professional responsibility to protect children and themselves
  • have considered appropriate methods of risk assessment and record keeping for their organisation or department
  • understand the process and procedure of case conferences and how to prepare for the meeting
  • have explored the role they can play in core assessments
