Overview

This refresher course provides you with an opportunity to practice and up-date your skills at any time during your three year period as a qualified first aider.

The HSE strongly recommends that you attend a refresher session once every year during this three year period.

Outline Programme

This session builds on your experience and confidence by involving you in realistic situations with simulated casualties.  Candidates will practice first aid in practical, hands-on scenario sessions.

Qualification information 

Designed for: People holding a current First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate.

Course duration: Half day (3 hour) programme

Assessment method: Continuous assessment by the trainer.
